Photographing Karla and Kyle was such a treat. They have been good friends of mine for almost two years now and I was thrilled to capture their love on camera. We met in Downtown De Pere at sunrise to explore the area and make some photographs. They brought their sweet and adorable pitbull, Aston, along to join in the photos. It was freezing out but totally worth it!

Boudoir Marathon
In honor of Valentine’s Day, I’m hosting a Boudoir Marathon on February 2nd. Whether you want to give the images as a gift to your significant other or just want a shoot where you feel super confident and sexy, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
When: Sunday, February 2nd from 9am – 4pm
Where: Aloft Hotel in Green Bay, Wisconsin
Details: A talented team of hair stylists and makeup artists are on location to help you feel as beautiful as possible. Bring all your favorite outfits (lingerie, a simple tshirt, a nightgown, your options are endless) and we’ll shoot for 45 minutes. This shoot is very discrete and personal, it will just be me and you. The photos are for your eyes only (unless you are comfortable with me sharing some.) I want you to feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible. Afterwards, I’ll edit everything and you’ll receive a disc (with a copyright release) of 25 of your best photos a week after our shoot, just in time for Valentine’s Day!
Why: Women are amazing and I want all of them to know how beautiful they truly are!!
Cost: $250 (to be paid on the day of the shoot)

I don’t think I have enough words to describe our shoot. Quirky, fun, colorful, exciting, amazing, artistic! There are just not enough words!
I met with Christine over coffee to talk about what kind of unique shoot her and Drew were looking for. I loved our chat, Christine brought photos of them together throughout the years, including a photo of them in kindergarten! How neat is it that they have been in each others’ lives for so long!
We met at Boxcar Billy’s, a restaurant put together by four colorful train boxcars! It was perfect for this unique couple. Christine and Drew showed up looking amazing! Christine always has the most wonderful outfits. She lives for thrifting and is always finding the best vintage pieces. You can check out her business and even purchase some of her pieces! We had so much fun and I loved spending my time with this great couple!
Christmas Gifts / The Joys of Giving!
Gift giving is extremely important and a great way to show the people in your life that you care. Over the Holiday Season, I not only give gifts to my loved ones, I also love giving gifts to my amazing clients. It’s a simple, loving gesture that goes a long way.
This year, all my couples from 2013 received a beautiful ornament, with the year engraved, and a card saying, “Enjoy your first married Christmas together!”
I also love sending out cards to all clients and vendors, wishing them all had a wonderful holiday. I know I love receiving cards (all kinds, mail is the best!) and I hope I can bring a little joy to all those I send cards to.

The sweet Kussow Family! Their daughter, Charlotte, turned a year old in November. She has the biggest, most lovely eyes and the cutest smile. Every time I see these photos I want to scoop her up and give her the biggest hug!

New Year’s Eve – A time for Celebration and Reflection
Ah, 2013. It’s been an interesting year. Blessings and hardships. No matter what though, it was all about growth and learning.
The year started very sadly when one of my friends passed away. I miss his spirit very much. So full of life. He taught me to never take things so seriously and find the good in everybody.
I had my very first solo art show in February, showcasing my personal project I’m truly passionate about. It was exhilarating and an experience I’ll never forget.
I’ve made some amazing new friends this year and became closer with other friends. I’ve been surrounded by some wonderful and supportive people who mean the world to me. I seriously do not know where I would be without them.
I’ve traveled to new places, explored different cities, tried new food, and soaked in every last detail.
I’ve photographed absolutely, unbelievably amazing people! They have shared with me their stories and their love and open my world with every new photo I make. I am forever grateful that they welcome me into their lives for that moment to capture their precious memories.
With the New Year just hours away, I’m hopeful and excited for what’s to come. A new look for my business, new places to visit, new people to meet, new couples to photograph. My goal for 2014 is to live with a sense of lightness and joy. I do not want to let things burden me, rather let them flow and learn from them right away without dwelling on them. To be grateful for my beautiful life and see the good in everyday.
That’s my hope for you all, as well. Whatever your resolutions may be, I hope you find happiness in the everyday. It’s all around you.

The Geimers / Family Session / Apple Valley Orchard in De Pere, Wisconsin
I’m so giddy every time I get an email from Renae, it means it’s time for another amazing shoot with her beautiful family! Her two beautiful children, Kate and Lincoln, are now 4 and 1 1/2 years old. They are so fun and I always leave our shoots with a big smile on my face! We spent time at the beautiful Apple Valley Orchard in De Pere (you can pick your own apples and they even have a pumpkin patch!) and had an amazing time.

Megan and Kevin got married!! How wonderful. After years of dating they tied the knot back in June. This couple is so easy going, the main focus of their wedding was for everyone to have a great time. They definitely succeeded.

It’s My Birthday!
I celebrated my birthday this past Friday! That meant celebrating all weekend long. Birthdays are huge to me and I think we should make a big deal out of them. It’s the day you were born! The day you graced the world with your presence and the world will never be the same. Let’s really celebrate that fact!
I spent my big day with the people I love. Dinner with friends and family Friday night then up to Door County for the weekend with my favorite person, Kyle.
It’s been another amazing year for me. Every year it just keeps getting better, I can’t even imagine how awesome it’s going to be when I’m 90! I’ve been very lucky to have so many wonderful experiences and great people in my life this past year. I don’t know where I’d be without you all.
